Arrangements for the PCC to make use of the staff of the Chief Constable or local authority:

The PCC hosts the Finance and Corporate Communications teams. 1.2 posts in Finance and 2 posts in Corporate Communications are dedicated to the work of the PCC.

People Services support is shared with the Chief Constable, who has the majority of staff and, therefore, the majority of the support.

IST support is integrated with Wiltshire Council and is shared between the PCC, Chief Constable and Wiltshire Council.

Public Meetings

Attending or hosting public meetings helps the PCC to understand local concerns about police and crime. The PCC attends meetings of the Audit Committee. The Commissioner holds four Meet the Commissioner events a year which the public are encouraged to attend.
