Introduction
The Safer at nights charter is being developed to make evenings and night-time in Swindon and Wiltshire safer for all. Our residents should feel safe when they are out in our communities in the evening. Our social establishment's should be able to welcome people and trust that they are safe when they leave to either go to another venue or go home.
Reducing violence and serious harm and tackling crimes that matter to communities are part of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s, Police and Crime plan for Wiltshire and Swindon for 2022 – 2025.
Digital Tool kit
This tool kit has been designed to enable our partners and any establishment wanting to make Wiltshire and Swindon’s night life safer, by promoting the charter’s initial survey. This survey will help us to gain understanding in how safer or unsafe residents feel and what we can do to change that.
