Critical support fund (£2.8m available nationally)

£1.5m is available for community-based sexual violence and domestic abuse support to meet exceptional or additional need that cannot be met through existing allocations. This funding will be for this financial year until 31 March 2022 and cannot be used for ISVA and IDVA posts. This fund is open to PCCs only.

£1.3m is available exclusively for the recruitment of ISVA and IDVA posts and this funding is committed for two year until 31 March 2023.

This funding will be subject to the same conditions as set out in the guidance titled “Ministry of Justice Funding for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Services” (February 2021) attached.

Funding must be spent within the funding period.
