Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson is asking domestic abuse and sexual violence organisations across Wiltshire and Swindon to apply for funding to support more victims of crime in the county.
In March 2022 the MoJ announced the investment of £147m of funding over a multi-year period, until the end of 2024/25, for victim services. This additional investment includes making additional funding available for DA & SV services.
Who can apply?
There is no requirement of applying organisations to be; a registered charity, a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), or a social enterprise to be eligible for this funding.
Organisations must provide support services which have the purpose of helping victims of sexual violence or domestic abuse cope with the impacts of crime, and, as far as possible, recover from the harm they have experienced
How much funding can you apply for?
There is no maximum limit to what can be applied for but requests deemed excessive, or lack clear evidence of cost, will be excluded from evaluation.
How to Apply?
This opportunity is open to all relevant support organisations in Wiltshire and Swindon – we encourage applications from small organisations that support victims with protected characteristics and those organisations that have a proven track record of providing tailored services for particular groups such as LGBT, disabled, BAME and male victims.
