Wiltshire’s policing estate has a core purpose to enable the delivery of an effective, efficient and improved policing service for our communities.
All sites should support officers, staff and volunteers to perform their roles in
a professional and effective way, reflect a modern and professional organisation and demonstrate our determination to reduce our impact on the
environment.
The responsibility for all police assets and ensuring they effectively contribute to the delivery of a quality policing service for our communities sits with the Police and Crime Commissioner.
The Chief Constable, as primary user of the assets, is required to provide clear operational requirements, which are prioritised across the multiple operational, and corporate, demands of the organisation.
Since 2015, we have rationalised and redeveloped our police estate to ensure it consistently provides what police officers and staff need to work effectively and keep you safe.
