The survey, which launched last month, is a vital opportunity for people across the region to speak up about their experiences and concerns when out after dark—whether walking home, using public transport, or enjoying the local nightlife.
With just over a week remaining, Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson is urging residents to take two minutes to complete the survey and help shape future safety measures.
He said: “We’ve already heard from hundreds of young people at fresher events, but we want to hear from everyone—parents, shift workers, older residents, and anyone who uses public spaces at night.
“Your voice matters, and your feedback will directly influence how we work with partners to make our communities safer.”
The Safer Nights Survey builds on previous work to understand the factors that influence how safe people feel after dark. Insights from the first survey have already helped shape local initiatives, and this second round will ensure continued progress.
The survey closes on October 17th and takes only two minutes to complete. Don’t miss your chance to help shape the future of night-time safety in your community.
